ICF Netherlands is the official Dutch Chapter of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the world’s leading non‑profit organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession and upholding the highest standards in coaching worldwide.
The chapter brings together professional coaches across the Netherlands who are committed to high standards, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
As part of the global ICF community, the Netherlands Chapter supports the development and recognition of professional coaching in the Netherlands while connecting Dutch coaches to a worldwide network of coaching professionals.

Our Role as an ICF Chapter
The Netherlands Chapter of the International Coaching Federation serves as the local home for professional coaches in the Netherlands.
ICF chapters connect members with the global ICF community while strengthening the coaching profession at a local level. Led by a team of elected volunteer leaders, chapters create opportunities for learning, networking, and professional development.
In the Netherlands, the chapter supports coaches by organizing events, facilitating knowledge exchange, and building a professional coaching community where coaches can learn from one another and stay connected to global developments in coaching.
By linking the global ICF ecosystem with the local coaching landscape in the Netherlands, the chapter contributes to the continued development and recognition of professional coaching in the Netherlands.
Our Chapter Board
The Netherlands Chapter is led by a volunteer Board responsible for the governance and strategic development of the chapter. Board members ensure that the activities of the chapter align with the mission, standards, and global framework of the International Coaching Federation. They represent the chapter within the global ICF ecosystem and support the long-term development of the coaching profession in the Netherlands.

As President of ICF Netherlands, I’m grateful to walk alongside a community that feels like home for so many of us. I’m motivated by connection, growth, and creating spaces where coaches feel seen and supported. My hope is to strengthen our shared spirit and help us grow together in a way that feels warm, human, and meaningful.

Our Volunteers
The Netherlands Chapter operates through the commitment and engagement of volunteers. Many of the chapter’s initiatives, events, and professional activities are made possible by coaches who contribute their time and expertise to the community.
Volunteers help organize local meetups, support events, contribute to communications, and strengthen the professional coaching community in the Netherlands.

Professional Coaching Code
On 19 November 2024, several professional coaching organizations in the Netherlands jointly signed the Professional Coaching Code, establishing a shared minimum professional standard for coaching in the Netherlands.
The Netherlands Chapter of the International Coaching Federation is one of the signatories of this initiative.
The code strengthens transparency, professionalism, and trust for individuals and organizations working with professional coaches.
