Director of Membership and Credentialing
Volunteer Board Position
As one of the larger ICF Chapters worldwide, The Netherlands Chapter of ICF is further aligning its Board structure with the governance recommendations of ICF Global.
To strengthen our community and better support coaches throughout their professional journey, we are creating a new Board position:
Director of Membership and Credentialing.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new portfolio that connects membership, credentialing, engagement, and professional excellence within The Netherlands Chapter.
What You’ll Do
Your primary focus will be to strengthen member engagement, member value, and community growth within The Netherlands Chapter.
You will:
- Grow and engage the membership community.
- Improve the member experience from onboarding through long-term involvement.
- Develop initiatives that attract, connect, and retain members.
- Foster volunteer engagement and future chapter leadership.
- Build bridges between members, volunteers, events, and professional development activities.
- Promote awareness of ICF credentials and professional standards.
- Support members with information about credentialing pathways and renewal requirements.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of The Netherlands Chapter as a Board member.
Who We’re Looking For
You:
- Are an active ICF member in good standing.
- Hold an ICF credential.
- Enjoy connecting people and building community.
- Are passionate about professional coaching and professional standards.
- Bring energy, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.

Time Commitment
Approximately 15–20 hours per month, excluding Board meetings and chapter activities.
