Maintain and Strengthen Your ICF Credential
Continuing Coach Education (CCE) supports ongoing professional development and is required to maintain an ICF Credential. All CCE policies, renewal cycles, credit categories, and submission procedures are defined and administered by the International Coaching Federation.
CCE ensures that credential-holders remain aligned with internationally recognized coaching standards and ethical practice.
Why Continuing Coach Education Matters
Professional coaching evolves and so do client expectations.
Continuing Coach Education enables you to:
- Deepening mastery of the ICF Core Competencies
- Strengthening ethical awareness
- Expanding professional knowledge
- Maintaining credibility in a competitive coaching market
Credential renewal every three years reinforces that professional competence is sustained through continuous development.

Credential Renewal
ICF Credentials must be renewed periodically in accordance with global policy.
As part of renewal, credential-holders complete Continuing Coach Education credits within their renewal cycle. Detailed credit structures, timelines, and submission guidelines are published and updated by ICF Global.
